GOD’S VISION: 3-D RESTORATION
Our Vision is to live our the Great Commandment and the Great Commission as given to us through Jesus Christ. These are found in many places in Scripture, including Mark 12:28-31 and Matthew 28:16-20.
*Worship + 2 restores our relationship with God. (ONE Mission= Every Growth Group has at least one, starting with service at Journey and going beyond etc. ONE Ministry= serving an hour at Journey where we offered this to our faith family when we “connected” as a member of the body.
*Share + 2 (share 2 current ministry blessings at Growth Group. The goal of a Growth Group is to have 50% attendance from beyond the congregation.) This results in fruit that restores our image of Self.
*Prayer + 2 (invest in prayer in 2 people & invite 2 people to current fun ministries each week) this bears fruit that restores our love of Neighbor.
What if most Journey members & regular attendees caught this vision?
What would that look like? (Restoration in the city and beyond?)
*Worship + 2 … leads to … changed lives that glorify God
*Prayer + 2 … leads to … members grow & guests return
*Share + 2 … leads to … people come and see and come to Jesus Christ
