If you are ready to start your JOURNEY, the place to begin is Sunday morning worship! Every Sunday at 8:30 the doors open for our complimentary Journey Cafe. Lounge and enjoy free coffee,doughnuts, other snacks and drinks before Growth Groups meet at 9:oo am. After another Cafe break at 10:00 am we have an amazing Worship Celebration. It’s “about” 30 minutes of worship, 30 minutes of the Word and a powerful time of ministry, weekly open communion, next steps to restoring a deeper relationship with God and others.

The Worship Celebration restores our connection with God. We celebrate, remembering who God is and who God made us to be.
Beyond that restoration we offer many Growth Groups at Journey and at locations around the city. In a Growth Group you give and receive encouragement from one another. A positive relationship building one another up in Growth Group restores your self image. In Growth Groups we remember we are told to love ourselves before we love God’s people. Growth Group is not about bible study. It is about an opportunity to positive fellowship and reflection on three simple questions about God’s best for you. About your Journey of self restoration.
Let’s review: First at Journey we get a restored healthy understanding of God’s nature by regular worship. Second we experience a restored self image so we can start the journey of loving others. We want to share the Good News of Christ.
Now we are ready for a THIRD dimension of the journey a disciple of Jesus Christ takes to live out the great commandment and the great commission. Once our image of GOD and SELF is restored, we cannot help but Invest in OTHERS. We cannot help but pray and look for ways to Invite when we do life with others.
After restoration with God, and self we can see beyond self. We Invest and Invite because we are now healthy enough to love others. Desire for them to experience JOURNEY compels us to Invest and Invite! We share our faith in God’s mighty acts through Jesus Christ in first century Palestine and here and now. We share the joy of how we get to be part of the extension of Jesus ministry in the world today through JOURNEY! We experience a simple model of covenant faith doing life together. To do the journey is to be blessed . . . . come and see!
